Hag El Leila

Hag El Leila is an Emirati celebration that marks the middle of sha’aban, the 8th month of the islamic calendar. This day is celebrated among many middle east communities to welcome the month of ramadan. In the United Arab Emirates, this tradition is known as Hag El Leila. This year , 2020, has presented many challenges to the way we gather and celebrate important dates. To keep this tradition alive throughout these unprecedented times, I have designed a digital postcard that can be shared as a form of celebration with friends and family throughout many social media platforms.
