There is an underlying culture that lives in our streets, some unheard of, and others unseen. 'Marking the unseen' is a series of photographs taken during the lockdown period of the 2020 global pandemic in Dubai, UAE. In times of deep isolation and critical exploration, the subject matter presented itself. Neglected vessels become a common motif in the neighborhoods of Dubai. This ongoing exploration aims to shed light on objects that give character to our streets in a time of minimal activity. The work intends to allure the viewers to observe their environments more closely, seeing the unseen, and reaching beyond the boundaries of our urban fabric.
