Monsoon

in collaboration with the City of Tucson and Pima County Flood Control District

Monsoon is an interactive card game that was designed and created with the goal of educating the community about water mitigation in Tucson, Arizona neighborhoods. The game includes 2 set of cards ; the first being the mission cards in which each card illustrates an site or neighborhood in Tucson that are identified as being most critically in need of intervention. Another set of cards ; the prototype cards contain an intervention to help decentralize flood mitigation – swales, native vegetation, basins, etc. Players must work together to find three prototype cards that satisfy the needs of the mission card.
