A trip to Echigo

Tokamachi, Japan

Situated within the Niigata prefecture, The Echigo-Matsunoyama Museum of Natural Science is a snake like structure sitting with a large art field in the city of Tokamachi. During the winter season, the structure is fully submerged beneath a heavy mount of snow , with only its view tower still standing above . While in the summer months, it is buried deep within a dense forrest. the exterior skin of the building shows signs of graceful erosion , blending further into its surrounding landscape.
